BBT is a structured, four-year developmental journey to equip young boys with essential character development, skills through the lens of emotional and social intelligence.

BBT is tailored for boys from fourth grade through middle school. We divide participants into age-appropriate groups to ensure the curriculum is relevant and impactful. BBT R.I.S.E leadership program for 9th and 10th graders.

BBT focuses on teaching and cultivating skills pertaining to self-awareness, emotional intelligence, communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving. We also cover topics such as resilience, positive decision-making, and fostering healthy relationships.

BBT is a four-year program that follows a semester-based system. Each semester has 10-12 sessions, each lasting a maximum of 2.5 hours.

Each session is divided into 5 key sections: Community Building, Exploring Trait, Experiential/Hands-On Learning, Making Sense, and Closing Ritual

Each semester participants and parents each receive a high-quality color print, coil bound toolkit (one per boy and one per family). The toolkit for designed to anchor each session and parent workshop, provide additional resources and activities, as well as serve as a self-reflection program guide for the semester.

 Parents can expect the  program to provide a comprehensive, character-centered approach to empowering their boys in key areas of personal development and building and strengthening their personal parenting skills.

BBT creates a safe and supportive space for boy to explore and embrace who they are, preparing them for the social, academic, and personal challenges they may face with confidence and resilience.

When parents apply themselves at home in small consistent ways they can anticipate small positive changes in themselves as well as their child.

Our facilitators are college students and young professionals who are passionate about youth development and empowerment. Each program facilitator goes through our facilitator training manual and a comprehensive online training course.

Yes, there is a fee to cover the cost of materials, supplies, rent, and facilitator. However, we do offer scholarships and financial aid for families in need. Please contact us for more information

Yes, there are two parent workshops offered during the semester, and each parent receives a toolkit to follow along and implement at home.

We recommend enrolling at the beginning of the program to ensure your son receives the full benefit, but please contact us if you’re interested in joining after the program has started.

Since it is a closed group, we will not add anyone after the third session of the semester.

BBT uniquely develops a personal character as practical life skills. Our approach focuses on participants’ emotional and intellectual growth, creating a holistic environment for their transition into young and, most importantly, mature adulthood.

Yes! We end the program with a celebratory event at which participants can showcase their growth and achievements and receive a certificate of completion.

Participants should bring their BBT ToolKit (given at the first meeting) each time and an open mind! We provide all other materials necessary for the program.
